Getting Started - Redhat Linux
- Install Dependencies
From a command prompt, run:
sudo yum install -y libicu libpcap libxml2 openssl zlib bzip2 python
- Install Pion
From a command prompt, run:
sudo rpm -ivh <Pion RPM File>
- Start Server
From a command prompt, run:
sudo /sbin/service pion start
- Load interface
Open your favorite (Firefox, IE7 or Safari) browser and point it to http://localhost:8888 - Login to Pion
The default username and password are both "pion" - Select Edition
You will need a valid license key to try out Pion Enterprise or Pion Replay.
If you provided an email address, you should be receiving an email with your trial license key soon.

The Pion Installation Wizard will ask a series of questions to complete your installation.
